Her professional background spans over 12 years in investment banking both in New York City and Copenhagen where she was a key player in large projects merging and integrating external resources, optimizing IT cost, improving culture and internal communication across organizations, creating and launching regulatory training, spearheading leadership development, and identifying and mentoring young talent.
Antesa is a systems thinker, and has been voraciously consuming content and worldly experiences as a means to better understand the human condition since she read her first Chicken Soup for the Soul book by Jack Canfield and was taught to meditate at 10 years old. She then went on to study cultural psychology, philosophy, sociology, music, and language in college, followed by immersive studies of yogic principals in her mid-20s, and eventually moved toward self-study in epigenetics, cognitive neuroscience, and various modalities of spirituality.
She has spent the past 20 years traveling the world, doing her own personal research on how community, culture, influence, and human behavior work in some of the oldest tribes in existence. She has had intimate interactions and experiences with the Himba and San people of Namibia, Mursi and Hamar Tribes of the Omo Valley in Ethiopia, the Tarahumara Indians of Northern Mexico, the Quechua of Ecuador, Peru, and Bolivia, the Dukha of Mongolia, Bedouins of Jordan, and much more.
In 2015, along with formally getting certified as a coach, she became the director of a meditation and self-development training organization in Copenhagen, training hundreds in self-development, meditation and embodiment, and has been explicitly guiding leaders and influencers on their transformational journeys ever since.
In 2016, after years of searching for the intersection between her appreciation for the growth potential in culturally immersive world travel and her desire to have a powerful impact on society through harnessing the individual’s inward journey, she founded Adventure Awake, which serves to provide the motivated leaders and influencers she loves to guide with practical tools in uncovering their innate human potential in real-time, through real-life experiences.
Originally from Seattle, Antesa has lived in five states in the US, the Loire Valley in France, and as of the past eight years, in Copenhagen, Denmark. She is trilingual in English, French, and Danish.
Through Adventure Awake programs, we give you access to presence, joy, empathy, and compassion – key habits of successful leaders. We help you reclaim those parts of yourself by surrounding you with community, collaboration, and immersive experiences. We then provide the space for you to debrief those experiences and a framework to integrate them into your daily life.

Unlike in a traditional classroom, where course content is designed by a teacher, and a student is tasked with absorbing information, our programs are about partnership. Our coaches will partner with you to identify your or your organization’s inherent strengths. We are not here to change you, nor to make you like us. We're here to partner in unfolding you into your best self and organization. Our incredibly diverse backgrounds make it possible for us to meet you wherever you are on that journey, and to work with you on being a leader in your own domain, both personally and professionally.
Adventure Awake programs utilize many less tangible experiences such as guided meditations, writing exercises, and other simulated experiences that are designed to help you and your organization break through your biggest blocks so that you can step fully into yourselves. It is through the combination of these elements that we expand both emotional and somatic intelligence.
Coaching is by and large the most important element of Adventure Awake programs. Unlike in a traditional classroom, small-
group coaching allows for calibrated, individualized attention that positions you to expand rapidly into an emotionally brilliant andwell-balanced human being.
Have you considered combining transformative coaching with the profound real-life experience of international travel?
We work with both individuals and groups to create truly bespoke experiences that are custom-tailored both to meet your needs and to help you discover your extraordinary potential.
While each experience is entirely different, and varies greatly depending on the client(s), the basic framework involves a pre-determined timeframe of 1:1 and group coaching to establish rapport, as well as to learn the basics of transformational work, set intention and success criteria, and discover growth edges. We will then co-create a plan for a 10-12 day in-person adventure somewhere in the world, complete with hands-on coaching throughout by a team of talented and experienced guides and coaches. Upon returning home, we will finalize the experience with follow-up strategic coaching to ensure integration of the whole experience.
Our previous clients walk away from their experiences fundamentally changed, and check back in with us months and even years later to report that their lives haven’t been the same since embarking on their adventures with us. Their ability to relate, influence, connect, and trust themselves is self-perpetuating after one expedition cycle.
Full programs vary in duration and can be anywhere from 3-18 months.
